ZKEX
My journey at ZKEX, an omni-chain CLOB DEX built on zero-knowledge proofs, began with shaping the brand through logo design, website creation, and marketing materials. However, my true passion lies in product and UX design. I dedicated myself to crafting a user-centric experience for the ZKEX DApp, utilizing user research, competitor analysis, and design principles to ensure ease of use and intuitiveness. Witnessing ZKEX's growth from 0 to 260,000 users has been a rewarding testament to our team's efforts.

Previous research
My initial step involved comprehensive research into competitor brands and products, encompassing data, features, and design. Understanding our target audience of experienced DEX and DeFi users was crucial.
Through user research involving surveys and data analysis, I gained valuable insights into our target audience. Our users are international, experienced with centralized exchanges and DeFi, and have high standards for ETH Layer 2 trades. These findings significantly influenced our design decisions to cater to their specific needs and expectations.

The research informed the creation of a distinctive brand design for ZKEX, focusing on key themes like technology, simplicity, and uniqueness within the other DEXs. Green and dark tones were chosen as the primary theme colors to align with cryptocurrency trading conventions and create a more immersive experience. The aim was to establish a fresh and impactful brand identity for ZKEX.

UX/UI Design
My work on the ZKEX DApp began with collaborating on feature maps and wireframes with a product manager, encompassing essential functionalities like spot and future trading, asset management, and history. I prioritized optimizing interaction design for a user-friendly experience. Subsequently, I focused on UI design, drawing inspiration from both centralized and decentralized exchanges to create a platform that enables users to execute spot and contract trades with ease and professionalism.

Actually the app works nice, UI/UX is cool, i have liked the dark mode feature, also it is convenient to have the switcher int he app, so you can choose what mode you want to use, i like more dark mode. The transactions confirmed quite fast and that is also what i like
