Meme Box

As the UX lead for MemeBox, I led a team of two designers to build a one-stop trading and analytics hub for meme tokens, addressing the growing demand for highly volatile, community-driven assets. Our goal was to simplify meme token discovery, improve trading efficiency, and provide smart trading insights, ultimately making MemeBox a P0-level strategic project within Gate.io’s Web3 ecosystem.

To address the identified gaps, I led the end-to-end product design of four key modules, ensuring a seamless, data-driven trading experience for meme token users:

行情/榜单(Market Trends & Rankings)

币种信息(Token Insights)

闪电交易(Trading Execution)

聪明钱榜单(Smart Money Leaderboard)

02

Swap

The Swap module was redesigned to eliminate transaction congestion, enhance user experience, and improve conversion rates. Key optimizations included:

Transaction Efficiency: Optimized risk prompts and pre-checks, reducing failed transactions by 45% and improving Swap success rate.

Faster Execution: Improved transaction speed, reducing average swap time from 3–4 minutes to under 1 minute (+200%).

Enhanced User Flow: Redesigned UI with clearer token info, real-time price updates, and streamlined input options, boosting conversion rates from 0.32% to 4.67% (+3.91%).

Increased Engagement: Page visits (+126.14%) and transaction volume (+1193.87%) surged due to improved usability and transparency.

Higher Retention: Next-day retention (+6.96%) and 7-day retention (+4.52%) showed increased user satisfaction.

Big Data

The final design received widespread user acclaim for its exceptional user experience, ease of use, and convenience. However, we also received a small amount of negative feedback, which I took seriously. My responsibility was to analyze the reasons behind this feedback and continuously optimize the design based on those insights.

Big Data

As the lead UX designer, I was responsible for the user experience design of the Big Data product version 2.0. Through in-depth business analysis and user research, I restructured the product's information architecture and interaction flow, significantly improving the clarity and efficiency of data presentation. Collaborating closely with a UI designer, I translated the UX design into high-quality UI, ensuring the product achieved optimal visual and experiential states. The successful launch of version 2.0 significantly increased user satisfaction and product competitiveness.
